Families, friends and solo glampers have been making memories at Wallace River Ranch since 2022. Located on thirty-six pristine acres, Wallace River Ranch is miles away from the stresses of everyday life. Here, you can relax with the sounds of nature all around you, relax in piece or hit the nearby TransCanada trail and hike miles of well-maintained paths.

Nestled along the peaceful Wallace River, our geodesic domes blend rustic charm with modern comfort. Each dome features a private hot tub, cozy furnishings, and thoughtful amenities — including a full bathroom and kitchenette — so you can enjoy the beauty of nature without sacrificing comfort.

Ranch Animals
Guests are welcome to visit our friendly farm animals at their leisure — wander through the pastures and enjoy the company of our gentle Highland cow, curious goats, fluffy Babydoll sheep, lively ponies, chickens, and summer pigs.
For an even closer experience, private animal tours can be booked in advance. These guided visits offer fun, hands-on moments like brushing the goats — a favorite for all ages. Whether exploring on your own or joining a private tour, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect with our animals and create lasting memories.

Stopped here one night on a road tour of Nova Scotia, what a gem! The dome was a novelty for us. Beautifully appointed and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and visiting the animals. We chatted with both the owner and her daughter, who were very lovely. They clearly love their ranch. Lots of attention to small details, such as a vase of wildflowers on the dome, little jars of grain to feed the goats and sheep,a fairy house and hand painted signs line the discovery path. Thank you for the great experience.

We stayed in the eagle dome with friends beside us in the Otter and had an excellent stay. The dome is luxurious while also being child friendly with so many thoughtful details everywhere. The kids loved the loft, and getting to meet the many friendly animals on the farm! Marianne and Eva went with us inside every animal pen and let us pet, hold, and brush their lovely critters which included sheep, highland cow, chickens, pigs, rabbits, and goats. Little Oreo the goat was our favourite! My daughter Emma also had a private pony ride which she loved. This place has so much to offer in every season. We hope to be back in the winter! We had a wonderful time at Wallace River Ranch! Eva and Nora gave a fantastic tour, both knowledgeable and engaging, especially for our 3 year old. The pony ride was a big hit, and we loved being surrounded by so many animals: a Highland cow, goats, pigs, a horse, chickens, and even baby chicks. It’s inexpensive, fun, and perfect for families. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. We will be back to spend the weekend soon.
